Moonidih Underground project
INDUKURI MINING PRIVATE LIMITED is currently executing a contract for “ Operation and maintenance for the longwall package for extraction of coking coal from XVI Seam at Moonidih Underground project of BCCL, Dhanbad. The scope includes a minimum production of 4.00 million tonne of coal within a period of Six (6) annual production periods through implementation of Powered Support Longwall Technology.
Moonidih XVI is the first UG mine, wherein the highly productive Longwall technology was implemented by a private agency/MDO in India. In spite of the challenging conditions like Degree III gassy conditions, working depths beyond 550 M, IMPL has been successfully producing precious coking coal from this mine.
